The Barcode Handy Terminal BHT-700 is already well-known in its Windows CE operating system edition. There is an additional option: the new BHT-700 with Windows Mobile 6.1. With this device, we are now able to offer more options in terms of flexibility, mobility and security. Windows Mobile 6.1 improves applications for email, the internet and Microsoft Office. In addition, the new operating system improves efficiency and supports a centralised data management system. 
With the introduction of a digital system for mobile data capture, the Dutch textile finisher Alpha Groep in Oud-Beijerland improved efficiency. Faster processes and greater transparency were the key to this gain. Moreover, during the initial implementation phase, it was possible to reduce error rates to below 0.05%. Transparency is also improved and any order discrepancies, for example in stock differentials, can now be reported to clients online.
The trade in plants is a major challenge. Particularly the outdoor areas of garden centres are exposed to seasonal fluctuations: in good weather, demand is high; when it rains, customers stay away. For this reason, it is difficult to consistently provide the right quantities of product to keep the customer satisfied.
