With the successful introduction of the Microsoft DynamicsTM NAV central data management system, TTID has reacted to the increasing complexity of in-house data management and responded with a solid foundation for future growth. The new ERP system had become necessary due to rapid company expansion in recent years. Under these circumstances, the existing non-integrated solutions were no longer adequate for the requirements of effective data processing. Over a 10-month period between February and November 2008, the transition to a modern, unified central system was carefully organised and implemented.![]()
TTID has recently introduced the latest DENSO innovation to the market: the mobile barcode terminal BHT-800. The initial response has been very positive with the new device comfortably surviving its baptism of fire. The two main characteristics of the BHT-800 are particularly positively received outstanding reading performance and exceptionally high processing speed. The Barcode Handy Terminal BHT-700 is already well-known in its Windows CE operating system edition. There is an additional option: the new BHT-700 with Windows Mobile 6.1. With this device, we are now able to offer more options in terms of flexibility, mobility and security. Windows Mobile 6.1 improves applications for email, the internet and Microsoft Office. In addition, the new operating system improves efficiency and supports a centralised data management system.![]()
Whoever has recently visited the TTID website and viewed the mobile barcode terminals will already have noticed the new BHT-OS logo, featuring the DENSO colours: a rectangle with rounded corners; one half gray; one half white. With the help of this logo, users of the site will quickly be able to see which devices are equipped with BHT-OS. These currently include the BHT-300, BHT-500, BHT-600, BHT-800 and BHT-8000. In addition to mobile barcode terminals, scanners and accessories, TTID offers its distribution partners a comprehensive and attractive service package. This includes optional service contracts, which can be activated on request and are not mandatory, but can add significant value to the DENSO devices. Our partners have the choice between a standard service contract and a full-service contract. Unlike our competitors, we do not link these contracts to software upgrades: these remain free of charge for all TTID products throughout their entire lifecycle. ![]()
In the search for a strong partner for the French market, TTID has struck it rich in Schwaben. Bütema, the specialist for mobile IT-solutions from Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany, founded a subsidiary in France on 1 April 2009. The new company will be responsible for the distribution of DENSO mobile terminals and barcode scanners to the French market. Based in Argenteuil, a suburb of Paris, Bütema France S.à.r.l. will be focusing on mobile IT solutions for the retail and commercial markets, and has already won two food retailing customers: Carrefour's daughter-company “ED” and the Auchan supermarket chain.![]()
