Alpha digitises processes with the BHT-600

With the introduction of a digital system for mobile data capture, the Dutch textile finisher Alpha Groep in Oud-Beijerland improved efficiency. Faster processes and greater transparency were the key to this gain. Moreover, during the initial implementation phase, it was possible to reduce error rates to below 0.05%. Transparency is also improved and any order discrepancies, for example in stock differentials, can now be reported to clients online.

New output efficiencies

Alpha deals in the refinement of textiles on behalf of chain store retailers and clothing importers. In the past, orders needed to be processed manually using printed lists. This was enormously expensive, involving a lot of time and resources and was a potential source of error. Today, all items are recorded on a central system using the new BHT-600 from DENSO. Thanks to this new system, the Alpha management team are able to gain a comprehensive real-time overview of all current processes. As well as the data capture element, bills of lading and invoices are automatically created.

BHT-600 provides transparency

The new system allows Alpha to quickly and appropriately react to any deviations. In addition, it is now possible for Alpha to plan more reliably than was previously possible. The loading and unloading of trucks is much more transparent. With the BHT-600 mobile barcode terminal, it is possible to determine for each outgoing vehicle, whether the batch is complete and whether it has been loaded onto the correct vehicle. At the same time, the BHT-600 is proving invaluable for processing incoming supplies. The goods can be immediately located, inspected and quality checked. All data is available at all Alpha offices, which greatly assists in the flexible deployment of staff. Needless to say, Alpha is very satisfied with their decision to choose their new mobile barcode terminals. The BHT-600 runs on the secure and stable BHT-OS operating system, which was specifically developed for the high demands of manufacturing, logistics and retailing.
